Reseña de “The turn of the screw” escrito por #HenryJames y publicado por @delfondoeditorial Sinopsis: American author and expatriate, Henry James is regarded as one the principal figures of 19th century literary realism. “The Turn of the Screw” is an intense psychological tale of terror. Beginning in an old house on Christmas Eve, it is the story of a governess who comes to live with and take care of two young children, whose parents have recently died. The governess loves her new position in charge of the young children; however she is soon disturbed when she begins to see ghosts. The Turn of the Screw is probably the most famous of ghostly tales and certainly the most eerily equivocal. Opinión: Nunca había leído nada de este autor y este libro me sorprendió. Me gusta mucho el estilo de escritura del autor y el estilo general que tiene el libro. En tan solo 148 páginas nos cuenta una atrapante historia de terror. Esta edición está en inglés, el vocabulario no es sencillo por ende recomiendo leerlo a partir del nivel C1 (CEFR). Si no hablan inglés la editorial también cuenta con una edición en español titulada “Otra vuelta de tuerca” ¿Conocían este libro? ¿Lo leyeron? ¿Qué les pareció? ¡Los leo!
